Chris Davies

Residential and Commercial Property and Private Client

Chris, our senior partner, joined the firm in 1970 as an articled clerk. He qualified in 1975 and became a partner in 1980.

Chris has a long established practice covering commercial and residential conveyancing, landlord and tenant as well as wills trusts and probate.

Chris is married with two grown up children.


Kevin McMeel

Residential and Commercial Property and Private Client

Kevin joined the practice as an articled clerk in 1972. He has remained in Barnet throughout his career and became a partner in 1980.

He now deals mainly with residential and commercial conveyancing for individuals and developers and with commercial agreements. He also undertakes general private client work including wills and trusts.

Kevin is married with three grown up children.


Matthew Timmis

Dispute Resolution, Litigation and Commercial

Matthew is the partner responsible for our Dispute Resolution and Litigation practice. He became a solicitor in 1998 and has been a partner of this firm since 2003.

His principal areas of work are Dispute Resolution, Litigation, Company and Commercial matters.

Alternative ways of settling disputes must be considered before resorting to Court action. Matthew has experience in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), arbitration and mediation. If, however, a court action becomes necessary Matthew will vigorously prosecute or defend your case.

Marion Foley

Family and Matrimonial

Marion is the partner responsible for the family and matrimonial practice. She joined the firm in 2001 and became a partner in 2003. Since becoming a solicitor in 1997, Marion has worked exclusively in the field of family law.

Marion is a member of Resolution. She follows their Code of Practice which the Law Society recommends as a guide to good practice for all family lawyers. She is acutely aware of the financial and emotional cost of family breakdown. She is committed to achieving the best possible outcome for her clients without wasting precious time or money. 

Marion is married and has a daughter.
